Keep an eye on them, and DON'T PULL A STUD!
Also, the female threads on the oil filter cover are easily stripped by owners trying to stop a leak.

These are steel fasteners going into an aluminum block.
I don't know if you had that situation on your BMW autos, or not. Did you own an Isetta? ;)

Re: Best time period apparel

I purposely ignore coolness.

Smoking cigarettes is cool.
Smoking Light cigarettes is being cool with the proper protection.

A Suzuki DR400 looks interesting , light and powerful if horribly ugly and with too a high seat for me. It's possible to lower it but the uglies remain.
I have seen worse...

Re: Troubleshoot help. No Spark R90/6

No screens?!?

Blasphemy!

His airhead should be taken from him, and brought to my house, where, if nothing else, I will empty the fuel tank every winter and dry it out.

That allowed me to visually check the large screens once a year, and clean out any crap that got below the petcock.

Re: Can a /6 starter relay replace the dreaded /5 Relay?

Every time I heard clicking, it was due to not enough power getting to the starter, either due to a low battery, or corroded connections, somewhere.

But I know nothing about /5 relays.

Re: Troubleshoot help. No Spark R90/6
