Boxerworks R80G/S brake conversion

I bought one of Nathans' brake conversion brackets for my '83G/S which uses a modern oilhead twin-piston caliper, but I'm not sure which one.Any ideas on which one fits?

Re: My R100RS - S? RS? S? RS?

I really liked the bike, but I didn't like the stock bars.On a ride down to the Georgia Mountain Rally I was in considerable discomfort. My neck, wrists and lower back were killing me.When I got home I had serious thoughts of selling the bike, after lusting after one for years. My solution was to put...

I have always enjoyed riding offroad and camping. Re: Spline wear question ...

Stephen,if you should need machine work done on this side of the 49th, an alternative to Bruno here in Canada is Yves Faucher near Montreal. I had him do a pair of R75 heads and the final drive on my '83 RS. Excellent workmanship. He came highly recommended by the late David Makin.

Re: Worn valve guides (again)

Could you be missing the underlying issue. Is it possible that the metallurgy of the two materials is incompatible. Amco 45 valve guides and BMW valves apparently are not very compatible.Accelerated wear occurs with the bronze guides.Cast iron valve guides are the way to go with stock valves. This in...
