Re: Breaking News - My Breaks Dont Work
I’m assuming you have a master cylinder under the gas tank. They tilt upwards at the front and can trap air. Unstrap the hose clamp that attaches it to the frame. Then tilt the back upwards and slowly pump the brakes. You should see bubbles coming out of the holes in the master.

Re: Better Airhead RS Mirrors
I bought a second pair of OEM mounts and drilled them out for a pair of NLA Napoleon mirrors. Should have lubricated more while I was drilling as it heated the metal enough to spin in the plastic mount. Put a nut under it. Done again, I'd due it more slowly with oil cooling. Then tap it with the app...

if you rev it with the oil pressure light on, you're throwing the dice.
if it's truly an oil pressure problem, you can wipe out the motor.

I have the same bike (a CFO version) and am considering a top end rebuild before selling it. Haven’t yet taken the heads off but it is my understanding is that year had different pistons and heads, with a piston dome that does not extend out to the edge. (see the piston on the left below) From https...

Honda does something similar with the radiator cooling fans on my 2009 Civic.
The fans run in series for low speed operation, and parallel for high speed.

Re: R100R Mystic oil light stays on
I have a 94 Mystic. When changing the oil and filter, I don’t remove the lines to the filter cover. There’s enough room to remove the 3 bolts and remove the cover and it hangs out of the way. Yes, there is oil in the cooler that does not get changed, but it’s a relatively small amount. And I use the...

Re: AFTERMARKET PARTS
to GSPD my thoughts about spring rate and dampening... although spring rate doesn't affect dampening, generally stiffer springs may increase the need for additional rebound dampening. the stiffer spring rate will push the "original" rebound dampening faster than the softer spring. since yo...

I have heated grips on my 94 Mystic, which are fairly low bars, but wider than the K75S bars. Part number 32 71 2 330 330. I’m sure you can find pictures online
