Thanks for the replies. Great stuff Ken, I have some work to do. I have owned the bike since 12/09/2001. They haven't been looked at since I've owned it....maybe 4 tire changes. I'm a bad bad bad man.

Yes, it does matter, but me thinks since you're a gearhead like the rest of us.....oil changes were done religiously and you cleaned the K&N more often than not. That pretty much takes care of the air filter debate, unless, of course you use an SM58 pop filter (windsock) instead...YMMV

My brother and I have used Star Tron for a couple of years now. It works great. He has a side by side and a couple of four wheelers at his cabin in northern AR. We get up there 3-4 times a year and never have had a fuel problem. He also owns 8 scoots and can only ride one at a time so a fuel additiv...
