Re: Take airhead to Europe?

Well you're still young and have some time to ride. It would be nice to move to Europe. After touring NZ I did some research on living there, but they don't make it easy. Maybe we can meet in Europe and go for a ride!

Repeat the procedure until the line is uniformly remove by the brake pads. Been a long time since I've ...

Re: Take airhead to Europe?

As an original owner of a R100S I can see why you would want to ride you own bike in Europe. But I have done two trips to Europe. I rent, and while this is not cheap, I find it a real treat. If your trips are going to be a matter of weeks rather than months, then I would recommend renting. New bikes...

Re: Redline Heavy ShockProof Gear Oil worth the cash?

Incorrect. Changing low mile use gear oil every 6 month, unless there is a moisture incursion , would be flushing money down the commode. Thank you. You've made my point for me !! How can you possibly know there's no water in there without draining it ? And once it's drained, it's silly to put it b...

Re: How to Wake Up a 1975 r90/6?

I'd replace the gas line. I've been told the weaved stuff isn't as good as modern fuel line. There are some fuel line sold for Airheads, that is close to fitting, but too tight. You don't want to have to force the line on to the fittings. I would loose the giant fairing in favor of better handling. ...

Re: Redline Heavy ShockProof Gear Oil worth the cash?

Motorcycles are typically ridden much less often, then stored in workshops, sheds and on patios that are much more exposed to wide swings in temperature, and therefore prone to collecting condensation. So the main reason you're going to change your g/b, drive shaft and final drive oil is not becasu...
