When you say the Hamptons, As in NY? I would go slow, Being from NY myself there has been flooding out on the Island.
check EVERYTHING, then do it again. Best of luck. I love my K1100RS. and yes it's a bit heavy.

Hi again, As of 3/17/18. the bike is now at the dealer. Euro cycles of Tampa. I brought the bike to one guy that was said to be a BMW wiz..... Found it! I googled it and there was a photo of the cover for the fuse box. So now I know.
The fuses were OK so I'm back to square one. Still no headlights

The 11 rib is the way to go, You can drop the fork leg down from the triple tree to install the gaters. If you have a
85 and up mono shock. In the states there O'reilly auto parts that has a off road shock cover that works well as a gater. email me
