Re: LH Mirror Thread Repair

Hmmm. I'll have to check out the timesert and the zoro ez lock ( I am assuming because it has a "l" at the end that the zoro it is left threaded). It looks like you drill the hole with the correct size drill bit and then pound/drive in the insert in - no need to actually tap/thread the hol...

Re: LH Mirror Thread Repair

Hey guys! It definitely threads in on both LH & RH. The stems are threaded at the bottom and the inside of the perch hole has threads. There are nuts that you screw down to tighten once the mirror is threaded in and you have it at the desired position. The thread in the perch and also on the ste...

Re: R75/5 Headlight Power

I keep reading that individuals who have done so have installed a relay. I guess it can help current protection and may help with brightness. I bought one...

R75/5 Headlight Power

Hey guys- I want to put a relay in my headlight for better lighting. My 71 R75/5 doesn't even have fuses. Plus there are wiring revisions from the previous owner, so not every single wire color or connection jives with the schematic. It doesn't have the OEM terminal board. I guess you would say that...
