Re: Painting and pinstripe

That striping is by Grant Fowler. He goes by the handle "Grant Fowler" here - anything to be different! :)

And I agree with Ed. That gold color is so tasty. It's my favorite RS color by quite a bit.

Re: Fork Gaiters

An airhead bike without fork gaiters looks to me like a fat lady with skinny legs......exaggerated skinny legs.

I like to see the gaiters on the fork because it makes the fork look proportional to my eye. For me, the protection is a side benefit.

Let's not talk about the jugs just yet! :)

Re: Trippin' in southeast Oz

Cool and interesting photos, Charlie.

Does it get hard to mount the bike when you have so much leg swinging space taken up by bags?

Re: PICTURE OF YOUR BIKE/BIKES

Nice looking K bike, there, sir. Have away at that R65, I say. But, as mentioned, brown seat, wrapped headers and my input "Knobby tires" will make the bike as interesting as putting loud exhausts on a Harley. I like to see contrast between the tire color and the wheel color, but that is not current...

Wish him a happy holiday season from me, please. richard t, that's about what I heard. He did have a very bad crash about the time he dropped away from Boxerworks as I recall. ...

Re: Identification

For the record, I thought funholiday was a (sometimes) valuable member here. Every time I would "defend" him, he would do something that was way out of line...........I mean, he would be a real jerk to someone. It would be very interesting to have met him. One person who funholiday attacked (totally...

Re: Identification

ZM, I likes me my fork boots (gaitors) and endeavor to put some on my RS. But the fairing of an RS/RT has openings for the fork that have their own rubber boots. Gaitors and those RS/RT boots don't mix well. That's the reason most folks don't run them on those bikes. A friend had some skinnier ribbe...

Identification

There is a person who posts on the mechanical discussions here and calls himself "wobbly". Is that funholiday?
