My grip warmers work fine with the Sunline grips that Rob got our hopes up with.... it may take them longer to warm up than with thin grips but I don't care. My heaters are Moose brand.

Welcome to the forum. Those are pretty bikes. One of my riding buddies has a (I think) '71 short wheel base R75/5. I was able to find a downloadable manual for my R65 (though I still bought the print one) on R65.org but I don't know of one floating around the internet for your bike, sorry. ZM's sugg...

It would be too traumatic in the winter. That thing really helps keep me warm. I don't know about Laminar lips, never heard of one of them on a Windjammer.

Speaking of Windjammers, I wonder if Craig Vetter is getting any better.

Back to the topic, I rode to work through a pretty heavy rain storm and the new Lazer helmet had water coming down the inside of the face shield, just like my HJC and my Shoei RF1000. I'm pretty sure it's the Windjammer and not the helmets. Luckily they all have pinlocks and don't fog up. Still anno...

I'll just stick with my cheap motorcycle but nice helmet and riding suit.
I would definitely buy a Zero over a new BMW.
