Re: What are your boots?

My boots are a pair of Sidi On-Roads, for cold and or wet weather. They are old but have never leaked. The other pair are also Sidis, but a mesh style (still full height) for summer riding.

Do your EBC pads squeal? My front ones do sometimes.

Re: If there were no Airheads

Daytona 675. Not that I've ever ridden one.

ZM did you write all that or was it a quote? Where is it from?

Re: Eclipocalypse!

I definitely need handling, or at least I used to. I will be thinking I'm doing something right, but by the time the instructor gets done I can't even stand up. Hey, you didn't take any pics of my R65! I did ride it the first day you were here. I still have more mowing to do, sigh. No problem, a hun...

Re: '76 RS pushrod rattle

Pinging was my guess, too. 3,000 rpms is a bit low to have it under much load. But an R100 should be able to pull harder than my R65. I think, I've never ridden an R100 very far.

Re: Eclipocalypse!

It was good to meet a real Boxerworks person, you're the first one I've met. I should have met ZM at Redmond though, but didn't. And that's good hot sauce, thanks. I seem to always get stuck behind RVs on 34 but when I don't, it's a great road. I like the sweepers on Kings Valley highway too, the on...

Re: Eclipocalypse!

Where did you go? When I saw the first burrito picture I thought you had messed up, as it was not yet half-eaten.

As I predicted, I saw the eclipse in Albany from the parking lot of the food processor where I make my war profits.

Re: Getting a grip

My grip warmers work fine with the Sunline grips that Rob got our hopes up with.... it may take them longer to warm up than with thin grips but I don't care. My heaters are Moose brand.

Wish the Grand Touring grips were still available.
Me, too.
