Re: Take a kayak along?

Inflatable with a fold up frame. Can't remember manufact but Tiaga rings a bell. Back in late 90's 2 buddies of time were biking across Canada and stayed over with me for 3-4 days to refuel, repair and relax as they had already crossed Canada from east St. John's NL to Tofina BCA and we're now on re...

Re: Bruno's Machine & Repair

Just spoke to Bruno last evening and yup....he's up to his neck in repair work. He had problems with some of the major farm equipment on the farm to get it ready for spring planting and also he had bronchitis which knocked him on his ass for a few weeks...so everything lined up now and his doing the...

Re: Bruno's Machine & Repair

I personally known Bruno over the past 20 years and he has done lots of work for myself and friends...always top notch quality. He lived in Kitchener/Waterloo area here in Ontario and his machine shop was in the garage behind the house. Then he decided about 10 years ago he wanted to farm, own some ...

Re: Frame mounted S fairing

There was a thread on doing frame monted S fairing on ADV Rider web site. Maybe googgle search would be able to find it. Basically it was based on using an RT or RS head tube fairing mount. Some alterations were required to the spider mount to accommodate the S fairing mountng system. It turned out ...

flatracer.com

or

airtechfairings.com (google may find this one not sure of name)

Hope my memory is correct...

Re: Meet the people who built your bike

Great time machine video.

Pin stripping still remains an art form to me. To watch how quickly and accurately they do things is amazing.

Figure about 1976 or 77 maybe? That was a 90S they were assembling?

Very cool...keep 'me coming!

Re: Meltdown

Perhaps a hot air gun might soften it enough to peel off. :?: That's definitely a tough one. What plastic compound is in those my tough ties can't help out with that. My wife melted the sole of her running shoe onto brand new muffler few years ago. As dougie suggested I tried softening it up with a...
