Re: Gas Additive
In the NW where moisture is prevalent, combined with ethanol, you can get a lean fuel mix and burn pistons and valves. The commercial fuel tanks at times in some areas in the winter have lots of water. This stuff keeps everything bound together to burn more consistent. It's much more noticeable in h...

Re: Gas Additive
Yes, it's an excellent product. I've been using it for about 4 years to help combat the negative qualities of Ethanol by binding the water and crap with gas to burn cleaner and keep from tarnishing carbs. Grease the round cable pivot on a regular basis, like Steve mentioned above, and it should last for many years. It's very common to break at this point if it can't pivot. I'm at 30k on my Motobins non OEM cable and expect it to go for another 30k at least.

Re: Riding an Airhead in the Iron Butt Rally
OK, I received the book the other day and I am about half way into it and so far I give it 2 thumbs up. I especially like the spare parts and equipment list in the back of the book. I don't think that I'm an Iron Butt type, but I thoroughly enjoy reading about it.
