That's not "pictures." I looked that up too. He said that's not what he has. Either he didn't understand us, or that's not what he has. Pictures OF HIS BIKE would tell us exactly what he has.

Oh, and I would expect the R50 heads to have far too small a combustion chamber for the larger pistons - especially the R75/R90, so it would probably yield an unacceptably high compression ratio.

Cams are different. Some may have used the (milder) R50 cams with a larger motor. That cam has both less overlap and a little less lift. R60, R75, and R90 cylinders/pistons bolt right up. '76 and later have larger spigot external diameters, and thus require machining either cases or cylinders to fit...

I've heard people swear by both Yamaha Moly grease and Honda 60. The Honda 60 has been superseded by Honda M77.

Ah, pxc, if you have the flat top plate, then yes indeed the instructions on Duane's site apply, and your problem is being caused by the fact that your forks are not properly aligned.

The bouncing before tightening the pinch bolts is BMWs recommended method of ensuring the axle is centered. Tighten the axle nut first, then bounce. It helps if the axle is rust free and greased. Finally had the guts to fill the /6 with Mobil 1 V twin oil. All the seals on the old motor had been replaced. My perception is that I am using less oil. Totally unsubstantiated logic is that it foams less therefore blows less out the vent. Anyway the good news is it isn't leaking from every engine...
