Re: New to me 1100RS

Yeah, I already upgraded the fuel injection nozzles, the cam chain tensioner and did the AFx unit too, running it at 7 pulses, still getting around 45MPG. I just upgraded the HES unit to the new sytle with the good insulation so I am about set for anything that may go wrong (knock on wood). As for c...

Re: If there were no Airheads

I bought an 1100RS oilhead which I really like. I do lust over the older Guzzis.

Re: HO! LY! SHIT!!!

The consensus there it had to be rockers/bearings,lifters or bend push rods. In the past I have heard of some issues with the pushrods, som...

Re: '76 RS pushrod rattle

Nice having you on board. A couple of things come to mind, when you assembled the rockers did you adjust the end play on the shafts? Have you pulled the mufflers and shook them, could it be a baffle that has come loose?

Re: R1150 Throttle Butterfly Angle using GS-911

Most of the activity on this site is geared toward airheads, even though some of us have newer Oilheads and such. I am attaching a link to a site that has free manuals to download, I have found these very good for providing information for working on my oilhead. https://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle...

Re: Getting a grip

I was there too, looks like an information link, see the link to dealers.
Did find many hits with others lookng for old stock on these grips, I figure the bushes have been beat for any NOS items.
