I did a quick comparison on the replacements for the Activ, the new Michelin Road Classics in our sizes (4.00x18 & 3.25x19) R $192.95, F $194.95. Compared them to the Bridgestones BT46: R $128.84, F $103.29. I put a set of the Bridgestones on my new to me K75, will see how they do. I am running ...

I have also heard that a mixture of ATF and acetone works well as a penetrating oil, make sure to shake it up as it has a tendency to separate, used it with a combination of heat, Kroil to take apart an exhaust system head/cross pipes.

Good advise on pads, out of curiosity do you have original rotors on bike or after market ones. EBC has a swirl drill pattern, stock may be solid no holes or elongated holes.

Tires have been an issue for much of 2021, with some sizes being discontinued by the manufacturers, like the Michelin PR2s for my Oilhead. yep, I have done the same thing only to find it a few years later by accident. Now I have started indicating what is in a box, like BMW parts, Jaguar parts and so on, helps narrowing search when I am looking for something.
