Re: OZ get together this Spring?
Hi all Not having done one of these extravaganzas, how much food do you bring? I'll be in Canberra Thursday so will ride down to Adaminaby from Tharwa which has a bit of dirt, I did it 20 years ago on the 90S it wasn't too bad. Whats it like going south from Corryong, or should i cross over to Talan...

Re: OZ get together this Spring?
Crap weather I trial loaded up the bike with a fair shake of my camping gear on Monday last for a loaded test ride (I’ve never been camping on this bike before). There are important questions to be asked, like, can I get my leg over the pile of stuff on the back of the bike? I got down to the local ...

Re: OZ get together this Spring?
Hi Charlie. Looking forward to the trip. Ive done Cann River rd a couple of times, And Tallangatta to home, but never the Omeo section. I've got a bit of fire wood, (my front fence) getting it from here to there could be a challenge. http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL154/13724150/24676175/411804278.j...

Re: The bike that invented sport touring
I sold mine in 2009 after 20 years (bugga) and am still regretting it. Picture is from the mid 90's, pottering down the Holwell rd, Tassie in the drizzle.

Re: Hi greetings from Australia
Hi Rob, Ross & Charlie I'm a bit late getting back; a few of us went up to Canberra for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride over the weekend. DGR is a world wide Prostate Cancer charity ride. It was a brilliant weekend we rode up in light drizzle, (great) followed by a dry weekend and a great tri...

G/day Bob & Charlie Here's the R100 whatever at Mossy Pt, the clock & volt meter squeeze in well. A local panel shop did the paint work on the fairing & hand striping, they did a perfect job. http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL154/13724150/24675662/411681081.jpg http://pic20.picturetrail.co...

Hi greetings from Australia
Hi greetings from Australia, I have had 3 BMs over the last 30 years firstly an R80/7 for 5 years then a 74 R90S for 19 years (still spewing for selling it), and now an 85 R80RT mono. I bought this one from a friend, who had bought it for its fairing, he kept the good bits and this one had his dodgy...
