Re: Blue tooth head set
My brother and I have tried 3 different sets of "communicators" and they all have their issues. First of all Google Maps doesn't work where there is no phone service unless you downloads the maps before hand. Since we ride in the wilds of north Georgia and western NC, that pretty much appl...

Re: K75 new but used
The only cosmetic issue is the paint on the front fender appears to be flaking off. Any suggestions? I am thinking of taking it to a body shop and having it sprayed. • Get it running first. This could take longer and cost more than you anticipate. Num-skulls like this typically leave the tank full ...

Re: Trans Output Flange
Unfortunately, I left the trans with Bob's to continue work, asking them to check the assembly of these gears on the shaft, but feel if I (an uneducated person) saw this in 5 minutes after they didn't after 3 hours, maybe I should be going somewhere else. Your fears are correct. You'll be paying fo...

Re: Frame repair.
i think Steve already knows the law in his home state of Victoria, and that is that no repairs whatsoever are permitted to damaged motorcycle frames, no matter what the are constructed from and how they are constructed. Presumably this is because the authorities have been advised by suitably qualif...

Re: R75/5 choke stopped working
Additionally, the cable housings screw into the holding cups at the lever AND at the carb end. When you reassemble the carbs onto the bike you must insure that the cable housings fully engage the cups or you will not be able to PUSH with the cable to turn the chokes OFF. You'll be able to pull them ...

Re: Very attractive IMNSHO
Are you also working on cammy Nortons? Hating you even more in the nicest way! Yes, we finished up three (3) Norton Internationals just last week... a '48, a '50, and a 1953 model. Prior to that was a Manx a customer imported from down under and wants to ride on the street. It's an interesting job,...

Re: Frame repair.
We straighten classic bike frames at the shop where I work. You cannot tell anything by looking at the exterior of the frame and I urge you to stop doing so. Headpost issues are best measured by placing a long bar down through the headpost and allowing the bar to center on the bearing area using con...
