They're under new management and decided to restore the zillions of linked photos on forums all over. Dunno for how long. They lowered their prices too.

Heads are back:
I've also got a new-to-me lawnmower that's going to take some attention this week--motor service and some welding or brazing on the deck.

Heads are back on, but the left one has to come back off. I got it all set up and gave the starter a spin, spark plugs out and valve covers off. Here's the result on the right side:
Plenty of oil coming to both rockers.
The left side:
Nothing on the exhaust side. Bugger!

It’s amazing just how much work goes into a restoration especially one of the quality that it appears yours is going to. I’ve got a 57 MGA that I did with my son, started when he was 6 and we finished and took it for a drive when he graduated college with his Mechanical Engineering degree! Granted there were a couple motorcycles and general “life” during that time. Keep up the good work on yours, it’s going to be beautiful when your done. I’m just starting my 1970 R75/5 but being retired now should help. Cotton52
