Min. Rotor thickness

Post by jimmyg »

What is the minimum thickness for a stock, solid brake rotor for a 1974 R90/6?

I don't see it stamped on the carrier.

thanks,

My Haynes doesn't show a thickness for this model. But for other models, it ranges from 4 to 6mm. The BMW repair manual shows 4.6mm for my R100/7.

I guess my follow up question is, "if I wanted to get oem style solid rotors, where would you purchase from?"

thanks,
