Is that shop in Athens, GA, run by Nathan?
Yes it is. Nice guy, but between running the shop and being an AirMarshal for the ABC he seems completely worn out to me.
After 20 years as a professional bike mechanic and 30 years as an engineer I know just enough to be dangerous !

ZM, please tell Claude I still am grateful he took the time to help me iron out the LED turn signal issue on my Cafe Racer. Wish him a happy holiday season from me, please.

richard t, that's about what I heard. He did have a very bad crash about the time he dropped away from Boxerworks as I recall. After he dropped away, I think.

I suppose it's possible. Wobbly is not exactly lacking in confidence.
And of course, he is the self proclaimed fastest rider here.

I must have missed that, ZM. Can you elaborate?

"I ride just as fast or faster than anyone else, but I never call attention to myself with showy starts, throttle jacking, Mohawk helmets, all that crazy stuff that says "come and get me" to a cop. And I haven't been pulled over in 30 years."

Seems like a perfectly reasonable statement to me, old chap. I could write the same and not consider that I had proclaimed myself as being the fastest rider here in some sort of boastful way.

I don't get the apparent antagonism towards a new member.

Words matter. "I ride just as fast or faster than anyone else" is simply BS. Could be the political climate, making me sensitive to exaggeration, and distortion of the truth.
