#2 looks pretty good, and it appears from the shadows that they are not flat so you have added the extra bend that is useful for the kick start model. You should be good, working on the principle that if you have the tool you will never need it.

I plan to make a jig and churn out a bunch to spread around the community.

Today I started my bike and rode it to Grants shed. We did brake stuff on one of his bikes then I rode home to my shed and parked it. Bewdiful day, 25C, 161 miles and 15.75 litres.

Yes, it counts a lot. It means you have started the process and are not committed to it.

Unless something else comes up.

Ken, been there done that in Oklahoma

I used the blower-vac 'cause the wind blows leaves and shite inside. Then I washed my daughters 2002 Beetle whilst she went to the movies with the boss last night. I used the blower to dry it then polished the front half, cleaned the windscreen with soapy 0000 fine steel wool and now she can see thru it!
For motorcycle content, I pulled some big dead bugs from the fairing, cleaned the headlight glass with the 0000, tried to remove some dried adhesive from the tank and wondered when I'll reinstall the lowers.

Steve Mate your doing tooooo much you'll wear your self out.If you send that gorgeous BM that you own to me you would have more time to clean the v dub for the daughter. No need to thank me, i'm more than happy to help put. I was even tempted to give the BM a wax but i held back until the work is completed on it.

Hi Steve
The poor old thing hasn't been outside the shed for years. I'd hate to see it get dirty with bugs all over it. That reminds me i'd better put the battery on charge.
