That is one super neat R90S. Pictures like this one keeps me psyched up to get my old bus fired up.
Today in shed: Progressing forward with the R90, fitted some more parts.Fitted a O.E Battery charging port , didn't really like the look the O.E harness that was supplied with it. It was to exposed for my liking so made another fused harness, pretty well hide most of the new harness when installed. The only part of the harness i cannot hide that well is when i connect it to the battery terminals. Also fitted the matching front number plate which iv'e had stored in my parts box for nearly twenty years and finally fitted it , others may not like it fitted for safety/personal reasons but hey its my bike. New throttle cables hopefully next week will be fitted , the shed/lock up is a bit warm to work in at the moment and cannot work outside under the double carport. The b----Y fly's will take you away at the moment.

Our tenant got her stuff back into the old side of the shed on the shelves we just built. Now I can finally use the shed for my purposes. Tidied just a bit:

Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

The R100Rs is on the lift. It needs a roadworthy cert for club plates.

Tank and seat off. New rear disc as the other one is a little wavy. Works fine still, so it'll probably go back on after the rwc.
There was a fine spray of oil causing the left side of the wheel to discolor with an almost dry touch to it. The gearbox oil was changed last week and I did a clean up about the front of the swingarm.

K1200r has had a replacement cam chain tensioner and a new centre stand this week.

Yesterday I removed the heater fan motor from my '81 Toyota 4WD pickup and vacuumed out the mouse nest that was preventing the motor from turning. It was cool, the big hose for my shop vac fitted perfectly inside the motor housing and into the intake tube beyond it. I was afraid I would have to disassemble the whole heater box, but the motor comes out one end after removing 3 screws and unplugging the electric wires.

The annual tank clean out today. I don't use in line filters.
Carb bowls were clean. The left side tap had a little crud in it. I probably shook the other one clean as I sloshed the fuel around the tank.

Good for you, Steve! A good annual ritual even if you don't have a winter lay-up.

Yesterday I installed a LED eyebrow into the R100RS fairing.
It's bright and now it might even be useful.
