Post by Bob Distelcamp »

Dumb question, Is there a difference between a K1100RS tank and a K1100LT tank for the year 1994????

Hey Bob, there's a few K bike owners here I know of, including myself, but I bet you'll get more reply action at this K bike site....

Yeah, the few of us with K-experience here are almost all limited to K75's - K100's.

Gidday Bob,

There is no difference in the tank, only the knee padding..

I had a 81 r100rs now riding a 94 K1100LT

I've had my K1100 (155,000kms) for only 12 months now so I am learning as a go along, cleaned it up great, sorted a good few electrical issues and replace the ASB 2 brain then finally got it registered, is lovely smooth bike with a bullet proof engine, low maintenance machine from what I am continuously reading also

The K11 org site is very good for tech stuff, not a lot of traffic and sometimes a few days to reply, great bunch of blokes but sadly once again not all are up for a good old fashioned "piss take" on each other like you get around this place.

Anyway all the best
Cheers, Grant
