Brake Lines

Post by grant81rs »

Gidday,

Rags hanging off it everywhere this weekend as it's preventative maintenance time.
All original rubber brake lines finally removed after 23 years, 1993 model so ABS 2 is fitted and I've had no emergency stopping instances, it's just time to do.

Stainless ones are getting made locally this week and I'll fit up asap.
I've always flushed the ABS yearly and it bleeds up rather easily, never had any issues.

Smart move. Let us know how it worked out. I was thinking about getting lines and fittings from Summit Racing.

Stainless brake lines.... A very smart move.
After 20 years as a professional bike mechanic and 30 years as an engineer I know just enough to be dangerous !
