Both of my bikes just have normal motorcycle plates, nothing special. It's not very expensive here and nobody cares how many miles you ride.

Beemerphiles

I was pulled over by a highway patrol while I was riding the 69 Triumph on historic plates for no apparent reason, I think he just wanted to check out the bike. We had a nice little chat about riding old bikes, old bike clubs and historic rego (which he appeared to know little). Frinstance, he was unaware that all 1960's bikes didn't come equipped with blinkers. I told him that what he was looking at was once a NSW Police bike and if he'd been in the police 50 years earlier he'd probably be riding one. I'm not sure if he was impressed or not.

After about 1/4 an hour I suggested to him that while enjoying the chat I'd have to get going, he said see you later & we both went on our ways.

I wish all encounters went so smoothly
