Hall effect sensor.

Post by SteveD »

I have access via a local retailer to the hall effect sensor.

These fit the 2 valve R series, twin shock and monolever airhead motorcycles from 1981 on. The K series and the oilheads also use them.

The usual replacement was a Honeywell p/n: 2AV54, but they're nla and very hard to come by.

The SIEMENS HKZ101 E is another one that's disappearing and hard to access. The type I have is the same as the Siemans version. Apparently it's easier to attach via rivets than the Honeywell? Instructions are also available.

They're $20 each plus postage. I post via Australia Post and the package is less than 500gms. Each hes weighs less than 10 grams.

For example, postage cost to the USA is $14.10, air mail, unregistered. http://auspost.com.au/apps/postage-calculator.html

If anyone needs one or more, get me via pm.
