Memories of, looking to....

Post by SteveD »

This elicits the Laverda 750 in my mind. Maybe it's the orange and function of the thing.
Looks like it'd be a blast to ride f'sure.

It's a pretty cool looking concept bike. However, I don't like the rear of the bike. To me aesthetically, the seatpan looks odd if it doesn't cover the rear wheel. I wonder if BMW will take the concept design and make a production bike out of it.

Like just about all sports bike manufacturers, BMW would need to screw a stupid looking arrangement on the rear to hold the brake light, indicators, license plate, mud flap.
Imagine an English plate hanging off the back!

Ja, I think its a pretty good homage.

But Oh so easy to clean up the lines ... they always cheat on concept bikes. You wouldn't want to be following it on the highway while that sticky rubber throws rocks at you. There is a reason they are required to have a guard ... and blinkers ... and mirrors ....

I like the mufflers. I really like the mufflers.
