That subframe is exceptionally pleasing to my eye. It just says strong.

When I made my cafe racer I used BMW R1100S mufflers mounted under the seat much as they are used on a stock R1100S. I worried that I would have to really bolster up under the seat hump with insulation and such, due to high heat. It's not really hot at all. Barely warm.

I was surprised by that.
