That looks comfy! I just came back from a rally where I had no where to sit. Hmmm.

Aldi seems to have some cheap prices on stuff. Shame it's so far away. :)

Ok if you reinforce the female poles where they join. damhik. Charlie had a a vice grip to clamp the split.

They've made the base frame more stable and the poles are aluminium instead of steel.

I sat in one of the same design in a camp store here in AMERICA!

It didn't seem stable enough for my tastes, and the feet looked like they would sink in most anything not man-made.

I never did find one that really suited my tastes.
I bought a Kermit chair, just to see what all the fuss was about.

There are a few cheap versions of the quality Helinox seat out there. They're very good but they cost though.

Steve, the Aldi chair that Sibbo linked to is a Helinox knockoff, not the crappy steel framed one that you bought and broke last year. I bought one for Jane yesterday - it appears to be near enough in quality to the Helinox.

I don't see a "buy" button on that Aldi web page. Oh well.

Charlie, is it taller than the Helinox?
