Hi all, my name is Barry(Baz) on a little Island south of the North Island of Australia called Tasmania, I live on a fruit farm in Ellendale in the Central Midlands of the State with my daughter Ness, population 250.
I have a few BMs, F650GS(800 twin) that's the daughters, 2007 R1200GS,1979 R80/7, R100TIC ex Police, 1984 K100RS.

The R80/7 is a work in progress, the R100 is no longer an ex ACT Police bike(previous owner) and is a fix as I ride type of bike and once the R80 is sorted I'll start on it next.

I had one n the late '80's. FJ1200. Monster bike and it chewed thru rear tyres real fast. The only real option then was a Dunlop radial @ $250. They lasted about 5K km and in my first year on that bike I did 40K km. 8 tyres, $OZ2K...
I had to sell it...bought my 2nd RS. The rears were <$OZ200 and they lasted twice as long.
I can't remember getting any velocity awards from the LEO's though.

Tassie is a mecca for both, with mtb riding hugely popular.
