You must not have not heard what I said. I WILL NOT BUY OR SELL ON EBAY. If you want to, that don't bother me in the least. I WILL NOT DEAL WITH EBASY. Nuff said.

Now then JACK, that's enough shouting! This is a quiet respectable establishment, kind of like a gentlemen's club. You know, doddering old tweed-wearing fools in sumptuous leather armchairs, sipping far too many drinks while catching up on stock prices in large format newspapers.

I though Steve's comment was perfectly reasonable. I've just received a sweet young set of rocker assemblies for my ol' girl from German eBay, at an excellent price. I'll be giving the seller five star ratings in my feedback.

ps: Your choice to not participate means one less competitor. Thanks for that.

Oh I read it Jack. I even understood the shout. My view remains unchanged too. You choose to not use it, you just might miss out on what you're after at a reasonable price. That's your choice of course, I'm not trying to twist your arm and it matters nought to me if you don't use it. I'm just offering an insight from someone that happily uses it.
I do understand the important notion of a hands on and visual inspection too, so if that's important, then that's your way.

Let me give you the perfect example.
Earlier this year Ontic posted an ebay dealers headlight deal...the whole airhead headlight for less than $40. He had dozens of them. All brand new, all in perfect order. MaxBMW has them at $630.

I'm not sure I've ever been called that before.. :D

Seriously though, those headlights were a steal- especially mine which ended up free!

I LOVE BUYING STUFF ON EBAY and I'm not afraid to shout it. Ive bought a few dud things, but the good stuff more than makes up for it.
When I finally finish my G/S I think I am going to go into ebay browsing withdrawal.
