If possible, everyone who's ever posted an attachment needs to go back and delete old ones. They hang around forever, cluttering up the server's hard drive and preventing new ones from being attached.

AFAIK, most forums don't even allow attachments, they burn up more bandwidth in addition to the storage requirements. This costs the forum owners more money.

The word of the day is: "photo sharing sites".

By never learning how to post a photo in the first place, I just saved myself a lot of time. I just add it to my website and then link it here.

I have given a lot of thought of what kind of club to not form. It would have to be one of the many that I wouldn't join too.

Definitely. If you're going to not form a club, it should definitely be a club you would not join. Course, if you would not join every club, that leaves you a lot of leeway.
