Dowel pins and pine needles make excellent fire starter, but if you want sustained heat, not so good...

No controller or other stuff is included. They do have kits for other bikes so I'd assume they could put something together.
The wrap around flexible 'fit all' types looks to be about just over $100
Two and a half weeks until the Alpine Rally................
There is a third type. A sealed heating unit fits inside the handlebar. It's one of the aftermarket snowmobile ones.

That Dual Star kit is under $40 U.S.

Ah yes Doug, they wouldn't sell outside the US, iirc.
I did see another product much the same available from the net in Aus, they were the 100 dollar jobbies, once again, iirc.
