Well, it will be fine at idle, but at speed the wind will prevent the fuel from falling into the fuel line. Well, unless the wind blows the fuel line back proportionately as well. :ugeek:

That is an incredibly good point. I can't believe I didn't even notice that issue. It's so clear now that you've pointed it out.

PERMATEX #2 is a good sealant for fuel (gas) threaded connections.
Teflon tape is not.
Apply sealant to male threads only.
