I have just read on another forum how much it can cost to replace the ABS module that craps out regularly on rough roads on the modern hexhead things. $5,000. I will not complain again about the cost of parts for my airhead.

I checked on snopes, and yes ABS is for Sissies.

Sunbeem, Yep, I said it that way, good catch. When others use that type terminology, I often catch it. It is so much harder to "hear" ones own words in a critical light. Or, in this case a literal light.

My R60/2 cost me $2500 to buy, $17 000 to restore and its worth about $10 000 if I was to sell it( I guess). It don't matter none....

Now the 12 month old YSS shock needs warranty repairs as a seal has blown and there is oil all over the shaft/swing arm.

Some times it seems that every week I have the replace or repair something.

I wish I had spent the extra $100 and got an Ikon too.
