There's another possibility, the Country Store has cheaper camping $5 per tent per night, still some RV sites available [need to reserve those @ 479-394-5300]. They have a covered pavillion w/ picnic tables, rest rooms and shower. Also, better cooking facilities.

I don't have much room here or I'd offer my place for free. My kid was really looking fwd to this, as was I. In retrospect, the store is the best option...............It's only 1.5 miles to the park and Trail.

Awshucks, that's mighty nice of you to offer. If others here that were coming to Ken's next week, if they'd drop in here one way or the other, that'd give you an idea of who to expect.

Not that it really matters much, but this map isn't correct. The store is on the SW corner of the junction of 272/270. It's parking lot has accesses to both 272 and 270. I'm at 1531 Hwy 270, pm for phone #.

Well sure it matters! To me, at least.
I find it frustrating when a business owner puts their location on Google maps - in the wrong place.

Thanks awshucks.

I wish I could come; if I could I definitely WOULD come to this stand-in location as a show of solidarity. I sure do miss y'all now that I'm so far way, and Ken, I'm sending out the very finest good healthy vibes for you to feel better soon.

Ken I hope your feeling better soon, I had some thing two weeks ago that put me in bed for a day and a few days of slow movement, what ever is going around is a butt kicker.

Attending this falls rally was causing me a bit of anxiety, got lot's of work that needs to be done before winter sets in and we are expecting our JCAHO inspection here at the hospital any day now. JCAHO is required to inspect our hospital before the end of the year and we are almost out of time.

I am schedule for those days off if JACHO does not show up, I think I will do some fall chores and take my dog hunting for a day or two, she would like that.

Ken take care and I hope that we can get together in the spring.
