I haven't used this paint manufacturer or vendor yet. I probably will use them if and when I ever get to repainting my /5. Matt, I've had Sito's on my /5 for about 7 years. I've been pleased with them. The chrome has held up pretty well. Sound level was just a bit louder than factory Zuena's. The rear axle diameter will be the same and no problems in drum type to drum type, as other folks have said. The drive splines on the /6 and /7 final drives are a bit different than the splines on your /5 wheel. Unless you have also replaced the /5 wheel with a /6 or later. Not the best for extended...

I've had good luck with the often maligned BMW Exide gel battery in the SWB /5 size. It lives on a gel battery type Deltran charger year round, when I'm not riding. Current battery is over 5 years old. I have a Transpo 14.2 v voltage regulator on my '72 /5 which should be all wrong for this battery....
