HEY JEAN, YOU AROUND! Anyway,I`m tooling along 75 r90s,running nice ride ,then FOoOF.......,nothing from engine ,to air compressor . That machine quit. I looked around ,gas ok etc etc. Now I figure I`ve got to pull the front cover . Now this is on Route 64 in Western N.C. I`m on a bad downward slope...

Re: Should I or should I not????
I`ve got a silver RS a 2000 model. It`s the fourth one i`ve had. I just love the bike. I think it`s one of the most beautiful mototrcycles I`ve owned. At 65 I fear she`s getting a little too heavy for me. My 5ft 8in height doesn`t help either. At any rate ,it`s smooth as fast as I need, handles grea...

Re: Aftermarket Seats
Has anyone tried the single seat from corbin? The damn thing looks massive,&it would seem that the nose on the seat would beat up the tank. Oh BTW, can anyone give me advice on using the post type seat attachment vs the regular factory hinges? I`d sure like a photo of the post type arrangement ,...

Aftermarket Seats
I guess it`s about time to replace my r90s seat. Looks like there`s been some changes . It`s now possible to order a whole seat unit that`s just about OEM. Has anybody been dealing with Corbin lately? I see where they make a nice single unit, but in the past the seat looks so massive with the seat p...

Re: R90 s fairing ,what type reinforcements?
Thanks steve . When I looked at the parts fiche,I saw what looked like #3s. Do you just use a flared type screw & nut to act as a flare tool? Are the grommets are already flared on one end ?

R90 s fairing ,what type reinforcements?
I notice that on my r90s fairing ,there are brass reinforcements(grommets) in the windshield mounting holes . I`ve looked ,but cannot find a similar type reinforcement. Are they a special type of rivet? I want to repair an old fairing ,but I`m hesitant to remove the old brass pieces . Any suggestions?
