Thanks Steve, They have the pushrod tubes that fit to the cylinders no prob but the one I need fit into the heads under the rockers.

I had access to a 50 ton press when I pulled mine apart. The 5 ton press I had at work would not budge it. And yes it did sound like a rifle when it let go.

That would have been much better. like I said butcher not enthusiast.

I have seen crank triggered ignition systems but they took the place of the alternator - racing use only.

No good for me! I need a crank triggered version for my /7 as the previous butcher, I mean owner, broke the thread off the camshaft and welded the advance assy to the end of the camshaft.

Unless some one here knows where I can find a new or good condition r100/7 cam.
