I Need A Krauser Key - Any Tips Where To Find?
My Krauser bags are in pretty good shape. However, no key(s).
Takes the key #055. Anyone have a source where I could locate such?
Thanks in-advance.

I'm Always SPEEDING...........
My '86 R80 speedo runs way too fast - probably 1.5x my actual speed. I did search here and found no info on the subject. However, I see on the Net the typical airhead speedo has troubles with accuracy. My machine has 40,000 miles on the clock. I found a nice Iphone app that calculates speed, etc.. P...

Re: Handlebar Master Cylinder Conversion
Can a "single throttle cable" controller be converted to a "dual" cable ? I've been considering the swap from "under the tank" to bar mounted and have the dual cable set up currently. Hoping that with a combination of parts I can accomplish this conversion. Thanks, Nor...

Re: What's the Preferred Fuel Line Crossover Method?
I checked several sites for various types of fuel hose. I'm going with the opaque, yellow Tygon fuel hose.
Got to "kick-it-up a notch". Thanks for all the replies gentlemen.

What's the Preferred Fuel Line Crossover Method?
I'd like to run tees off my petcocks to have mutual fuel lines to both carbs. I have seen tees and lines run behind the airbox; over the top of starter cover; through starter cover...... Is there a preferred method for running crossovers?

Tim, thanks for the link. Snowbum calls it the "Evaporative Emission System." Prior owner removed disconnected the
tank overflow hose from the system. I'm going to remove the cans and plumbing that remain and reroute the 2 tank
hoses. Should be good to go afterwards. Thanks.

Re: 1986 R80 Naked Bike - Tank Vent Doing It's Job?
Pulled tank off. Tank overflow hose had come off the nipple. It was leaking gas from full/hot tank of gas right onto top of starter cover. Had an old fabri-covered hose that was just sitting on the top of the cover. I'll put new rubber gas hoses on both vents and if I'm reading other notes on doing ...

I can only imagine; nay, I don't want to imagine. I just my seat off and found some
hose to drain the gas tank. Working on it between coming inside the AC to cool off. Whew.
