Re: what's wrong with the ignition on this cylinder?

What you are doing is raising the output of the coil, the extra gap increases the Kv required.Usually the symptom of a fouled plug.Replace the sparkplugs.

Re: VW Motorcycles RULE

I had this in 1985 - a Ural with a 40hp VW engine and a Jupiter chair on the left.I didn't build it,but picked it up as an unfinished project. The VW didn't make much more hp than the Ural, but had gobs more torque...max revs were less too,so like a VW car,max speed was cruising speed.Crossed up power...

Re: Ideas for new motorcycle product line

My brother lives in Vancouver, and was recently stopped by a cop because she couldn't read his number plate. He must have upset her because now he has to take the bike through some sort of compliance check....the bike is not stock, and he has to fit bits back on he doesn't have.I guess cops can be a bi...

Re: Warning....Oil question. Enter at own risk

I used to use Silkolene Pro 4 15-50 in my Honda XLV750 which ran hot,and used the last of it in the airhead.Full ester synthetic...but probably not available to you poor Americans. I'm using Castrol Edge Sport 25-50 now...just a dino, and not available to you either.
