Once again, thanks to the guys on this forum, lifting the back of the master cylinder released a sizable amout of air and resolved my issue, so thanks once again.

thanks guys, (Seth Kurt Jackonz and Meilvile) a couple of things to try there. i will give both of those a go and report back, before i start buying new brake cables.

well an update on this one, i stripped the breakmaster cyclinder and re-built it up again, had difficulty bleeding them, so i used a syringe to draw the fluid through the system and managed to get some pressure behind the leaver, all is good. except my original problem is still there. no pressure on...

i shall check the break lines as well, is it worth upgrading to braded metal, as i have everything dismantled anyway? whats peoples thoughts on that.

thanks Steve D, no leaks, i had a good look around, so i am guessing its the master cylinder, i have ordered the kit, lets hope its the correct one.

i see the kit changed the year my bike was built, but as they are not original front breaks i will need to do some invesitigation work to make sure i get the correct kit ordered. - thanks once again for all your help.

thanks Rob, the progressive nature of the pressure made me think it was something a little more seriouse than a few air bubbles in the break fluid, but i will try a more extensive bleeding this evening but will order the master cylinder rebuild kit this afternoon. I suspect i will need the R75/s kit...

thanks Melville i did bleed the breaks ran about 100ml though, shoudl i just keep going and flush through more?

Hello Melville, i forgot to come back and thank you, this worked a treat and i was able to get the steat up, the brackets had bent which was causing an alignment issue, i hammered them straight so we are back in business - thanks for the advice.

Once again i come to the group for help and advice. The Front break developed a sudden fault, i have a R75/6, but it has a R75/S twin disk set up. I was riding out of my drive and the front break leaver did not return, instead it stayed by the throtle grip, i had to push it out manually, but the bre...
