Hi
I am just about to fit the front tyre on my 1980 R80/7. i did not take note of which way round the wheel goes, its a twin disk mag.
the hub looks central but i would like to check please?

I would...and did on my R100/7. I changed seats as well as the valves. Who is doing to work for you? If some shop, can they get the parts you want? And are they familiar with the details of Airhead valves? I don't know specifically what that is, but I've heard it from many people that all heads and...

hi,
I am rebuilding the heads on my R80/7 1980. i would like to change the valve seats so i can use unleaded. on the parts sites i can only find exhaust seat.

do i need to do the inlet seat also?For models listed with 38mm exhaust valves ( Suitable for unleaded fuel )

This is fitted below the 'guide support' at the top of the fork damper unit (the 'guide support' is the fork damper piston which takes the piston rings SUA32059).
Please note; this item does not fit R45 or R65 models.

I had work done on my R69S and the mechanic suggested just using fresh standard size rings. Has been working fine.

hi,
1980 R80/7. i measured 3 places on each jug all three were over the tolerance. i have the numbers in the garage but i think the end gap was 90 bottom 100 mid and 110 near the top (metric).
