Are you sitting up or crouching behind the screen. I don't recall the numbers, but an early test I read a while back gave the top speed with the rider seated normally as being achieved in 4th gear, and a bit slower than what was achieved in top with the rider crouched behind the screen.

Don't blame me if this ruins your carb, but..... I've been told that one can use a cloth-covered philips head screwdriver of suitable size to gently polish the needle seat. I gather it works well while riding, and only leaks slowly when parked, indicating a slight failure of the needle-seat seal. Mike

Try this lot.. http://www.packsend.com.au/packsendcms/contact_packandsend I haven't used them myself, but last year I sold a pair of (rather heavy) 4 foot speakers on ebay and the buyer used this lot to get them to Sydney. They were happy to collect them unboxed, and the buyer thought they were good...
