fell into a problem today. went and removed the spark plug and the bigsert came out with it. I looked at the threads and their garbage. So i was wondering if there's a way to fix it or should i just buy a new head. I found one but its from a 1974 r75/6. Are there any major differences between heads?

i took the bike and did a main jet test and i have to say everything seems spot on but there's one thing i noticed about these carbs, that is that there is no spring at the diaphragm. It's really hard to get any information on these set of carbs. Do you think there should be a spring? Any way to tel...

well the bike runs well and the spark plugs are brown so in theory i can run these carbs on my bike but do you think there is anything that i should change or just leave as is

also i just took a lok at my main jets which are 145 and my slow jets are 45. that seems to large, so what are the correct jet sizes for a 1971 r75

So the carbs on my 71 /5 have a serial number 64/32/328. Now are these carbs post /5 carbs? Also i noticed that these carbs have no spring but many of the diagrams indicate a spring. has anyone purchased an oil pressure switch from capital cycle? Mine came in today with a copper crush washer and I was wondering if its for the later models. is there any way to tell by thread count?

i heard that there's a tool to reset the pushrod seals back in to the block as long as the seals are not hard. What tool is needed and how would one go about doing this.
