This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

OK, I will see if I can send Diane down under. She may have been down under before.

There are so many things to do, it is hard to know how to not decide which to not do.

Do you want to hire me as your personal assistant, to deal with all of these decisions for you, so you can enjoy your Golden Years?

Oh wait, Duane, I don't want to burden you with another decision to not make. I will begin now. YES! :D

Send me a cheque for whatever my sister & bro-in-law paid for their motorhome that they have no business buying (sister is so obese she can't even get in the thing!), and we will travel the world, you, me & Diane and my two cats, Mina and Kima.
We can drag the Camry behind us.

Or should I say we would drag Diane behind us? :?

Rob, that is one of the better options that has been offered for me to not decide.

The perfect premise for a movie, but with Diane along I could see the plot getting a bit too close to Life of Pi

It's perfectly all right for an Australian bloke to 'frock-up' whenever he likes - in the privacy of his own country - but I wouldn't recommend it to any visiting Americans.

Er, how did we get onto this?

Grant, the company motorbike is a great idea. You have a good boss.

Gidday Fellas,

Thursday morning at around 8am I met SteveD in Trafalgar, my hometown, after his 100km run out from Melbourne, "Bloody foggy" were roughly his first words as as we both filled our bikes up at the local Shell servo before our run through to the NSW boarder which is approx 500kms east.

We made a day of it as I had to stop at 4 hotels on the way to measure their TABcorp signage plus the pub at Mallacoota where we were staying for the night before the run back home via two more pubs at Metung and then Swan Reach hotels.

The run along the prince Hwy from Cann River to the Mallacoota turnoff at Genoa was fantastic, not a car in site as the afternoon was pushing 4 -5ish, a quick stroll around the Mallacoota foreshore with beers after we settled into our Motel room and then straight into the Bistro for a good feed and a couple more beers.

A faultless run home by both bikes was had, plus coffee, lunch and conversation was great, many thanks for tagging along SteveD.

Lunch at the Marlo Pub Thursday, tasty squid n beers!!

The Metung Pub today, another great spot for a feed.

Then home....

Steve's bike constantly got 1.5 to 1.8 litres of fuel better than mine over each fill and over the 1000kms traveled my RS used hardly any oil that I could notice on the dip stick, it sat bang on the top line from go to home, I could not fault my old bikes performance considering this was my first real trip away from home since I have it back on the road.. Very happy!!

Two steam trains heading down the highway, and a few backs roads. Didn't miss a beat.

694miles/1110kms according to my speedo! 73.05 litres of 98RON is 15.2 kms per litre. What's that, about 36mpg? That's as good as mine has been for ages. A new HES and the oem coils are really the only changes.

Thanks for the invite Grant. Great fun.

Grant even saw a HD rider deck his pride and joy!

We saw this fella. Can you see him? That's how they look on the side of the road in broad daylight, just before they jump onto the road :!:  Image
