The Macs are gone here. Can't find one on a ring around locally.
I'm told they have been/will be replaced by something else from Michelin in the 400/18 but they're not yet in Oz.
ME77 is $130.
Monza Imports does Bridgestone and locally Peter Stevens is them.

Re: So long Mac.
I believe the michelin 'pilot activ' is the replacement. I think I heard that two years ago.....
Pablo's said they were expected in 5-6 weeks.
The time delay in introducing the replacement tyre is just enough for people to find a different brand to run with.

Re: So long Mac.
The July / August issue of Old Bike Mag has a reasonable feature which attempts to list what is available in Oz in road tires in sizes that would suit old bikes/airheads.

I have the 3.25-19 front but am backordered on the 4.00-18 rear at present from AMT. They expect it any time now.SteveD wrote:The correct sizes are listed as available at http://www.americanmototire.com/catalog ... 33_176_184SteveD wrote:Pilot activ.

Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.
