Frame Engine Mount Weld Failure!
These pictures were posted on the R65 forum. I thought it warranted spreading the word. There could be 1 or 2 other frames out there like this!

I found out why that phrase grates on my nerves so, when I saw a clip someone posted of a FOX "news" program, and one of the broadcasters used it in their "banter".
Or maybe I'm just getting old. Probably should start pulling my pants up...

That was a really bad weld from the factory. Not enough heat and missed the target.
The weld was laid on top like it was squeezed from a tube of toothpaste.

Engine Mount Weld Failure. Maybe not Hans' fault ?
Could it be possible that an owner of this bike
neglected to maintain proper torque of the engine mount fastener
i.e. it was loose, possibly for some length of time, and the resulting vibration / stress ...
might be the source of the cracking / weld failure ?
I have witnessed similar results of continued vibration / stress.
