ID sidecar

Post by r67boxer »

Can anyone help ID this sidecar? I've done an exhaustive search and came up with 'close but no cigar'. It has no badge, stamp or tags of any kind. It came over from Germany about 30 odd years ago mated to a '51 R67. The 'cabine' is made by Richter. The cradle looks to be very similar to the TR 500 Steib. The tub itself I don't believe is Steib nor Felber mostly because the trunk lid is inside of the edge of the trunk compartment whereas the Steib wraps around the compartment. One of the Felber models has a lid but it's quite a bit smaller. There is also a Felber model with a tub the same shape as the one in the image, but no trunk lid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did a reverse image search and found that the Felber sidecar is sort of close.

Thanks Kurt. The Felber does come close but the trunk lid is off, at least when looking at images available on the internet. I've also researched the Globe and Cozy brands from India. Both companies had an association with Steib before they [initially] closed up shop in the late 50s. So, many of the parts/designs were available from Steib. Cozy apparently focused on the local handicap transport market initially (now they are widely exported) whereas Globe on the export market. The shape is much like the LS 200. I believe Globe made a GS200.
