Condition is really wonderful but obviously as it has stood for a quite a while i have made a start overhauling the brakes, then once i know i can stop i will fit a new battery and get the fuel system cleaned out and get her running.

Will post some pictures when i am a bit further down the line.

Oh, we want pictures NOW!!
Bing 40 carbs:
When you "do" the carbs, just go right down to the hardware store (where they sell metric fasteners) and buy a set of hex-socket, flat (or oval) head screws and a little hex-wrench (key)to replace the slotted-head ones in the dome. You will not be sorry. Good luck getting the original screws out.

Another thing I have in my notes from my last carb job is the O-rings in the Bing kit were wrong for the idle mix screw. The idle jet tube O-ring and the idle mix screw have different shank diameters but they supplied the same size O-rings.
The idle jet shank is 3.8mm while the idle mix shank is 5mm. I used a 3/16 x 5/16 O-ring (5mm x 8mm) on the idle mix screw. Worked FINE. Don't even TRY to use the little one.
